I may update, remove or change website content at any time.
4. Enquiries and quotes
Submitting a contact form or enquiry does not create a contract.
A project will only be confirmed once the scope, price, timeline and terms have been agreed in writing by both parties. This may be by email, proposal, invoice, contract or written confirmation.
Quotes are valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise.

-
Respond to feedback or approval requests in good time
-
Make payments by the agreed due date
-
Ensure they have the right to use any materials they provide, including images, logos, copy and branding
Delays in providing information, feedback or payment may affect project timelines.

Payment terms will be confirmed before work begins.
Depending on the project, payment may be required:
-
In full upfront
-
As a deposit before work begins
-
In instalments
-
On completion
-
Monthly, for ongoing services
Invoices must be paid by the due date shown on the invoice.
Late payments may delay delivery of work or pause ongoing services.

If you need to cancel a project, please contact me as soon as possible.
If work has already started, you may be charged for work completed up to the cancellation date, including planning, admin, creative work, shooting, editing, writing or strategy.

Projects may include a set number of revisions, which will be agreed before work begins.
Revisions must relate to the original agreed brief. Major changes in direction, additional concepts, extra pages, extra posts or new deliverables may be charged separately.
10. Photography and creative work
For photography projects, the client is responsible for ensuring access, permissions and any required approvals are arranged before the shoot.
Unless agreed otherwise:
-
Edited final images will be supplied digitally
-
RAW or unedited image files are not included
-
Delivery times will be confirmed depending on the project
-
Images may be used by the client for agreed business and marketing purposes
-
I may use selected work in my portfolio, website, social media or promotional materials, unless agreed otherwise in writing
11. Intellectual property
All original creative work remains the property of Archie Stevens Creative until full payment has been received.
Once payment has been made, the client receives the agreed usage rights for the final approved work.
Unless agreed otherwise, I retain the right to display completed work in my portfolio, website, social media, case studies and marketing materials.
Clients must not resell, redistribute or claim ownership of work beyond the agreed usage rights without written permission.
12. Third-party materials
Some projects may involve third-party tools, platforms, fonts, stock images, website builders, plugins, software or services.
The client may be responsible for any third-party costs, subscriptions, licences or platform fees unless agreed otherwise.
I am not responsible for issues caused by third-party platforms, including outages, policy changes, technical problems or account restrictions.
13. Social media services
For social media management or content support, I may help with planning, captions, scheduling, posting, creative direction and platform management.
While I will aim to create strong, useful and strategic content, I cannot guarantee specific results such as follower growth, sales, enquiries, engagement rates or search rankings.
Social media performance can be affected by platform changes, audience behaviour, algorithms, budget, consistency, market conditions and other factors outside my control.
14. Website, SEO and copywriting services
For website content, SEO copywriting or digital strategy, I will aim to create clear, useful and search-friendly content.
However, I cannot guarantee specific search engine rankings, traffic increases, sales or enquiries.
Search performance depends on many factors, including competition, technical website setup, domain authority, backlinks, site speed and ongoing activity.
15. Limitation of liability
I will always aim to provide services with reasonable care and skill.
However, Archie Stevens Creative will not be liable for:
-
Loss of profit
-
Loss of business
-
Loss of data
-
Loss of opportunity
-
Indirect or consequential loss
-
Issues caused by third-party platforms, providers or services
-
Delays caused by the client or circumstances outside my reasonable control
Nothing in these terms limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so.
GOV.UK guidance notes that standard terms must be fair and that businesses have more responsibilities when dealing with consumers than with other businesses.
16. Consumer rights
If you are acting as a consumer rather than a business, you may have additional legal rights.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions affects your statutory rights.
UK consumer rules may give consumers cancellation rights in certain situations, particularly for distance contracts. If this applies, the relevant rights and cancellation period should be explained before work begins.
17. Confidentiality
Any confidential information shared as part of a project will be treated with care and will not be shared publicly without permission, unless required by law.
18. Testimonials and portfolio use
I may ask clients for testimonials or feedback after a project.
Testimonials will only be used with permission. Work examples may be used in my portfolio unless confidentiality has been agreed in writing.
19. Links to other websites
This website may contain links to third-party websites. I am not responsible for the content, privacy practices or terms of any external websites.
20. Changes to these terms
I may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. The latest version will be available on this website.
21. Governing law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Any disputes will be subject to the courts of England and Wales.
